Neck pain is an issue with an obvious solution

Neck pain is disturbing and bothers us while working and doing conventional duties. However, you don’t have a need to visit a neurology center in case of non-chronic pain. Establishing some healthy habits will help you preventing neck pain and, moreover, treating it.

1. Work on your posture
You will think about how much we sit and how it affects our spinal cords and neck, but your posture is important while standing and walking. Align your hips with your shoulders and adjust your ears directly over your shoulders. Move your limbs parallel to the floor while sitting. Don’t angle your arms and wrists. Proper posture will help you reduce the neck pain over time, but the solution is not immediate.

2. Free your neck
Don’t strain your neck by holding items with it. Don’t hold things under your thin. We all have only two hands, but they are enough to cope with all the holding tasks, let your neck be free. Besides putting your neck on your shoulders while holding your phone, burdening your shoulders with heavy things may also cause neck pain.

3. Improve your habits
Adjust your regular reading and texting posture. Raise your phone or book to the eye level. The strain is caused by bending your neck down while using reading materials; therefore, it is important to raise up your computer or adjust your chair to provide the eye level working on the computer during prolonged working sessions.

4. Exercise
Holding your neck in a strict position is also redundant. Exercise your neck to stretch it and normalize the blood flow. Try neck turns and head tilts as the basic options to warm up your neck. Roll your neck and circle your shoulder to complete the exercise sequence.

Use these simple tips to prevent neck pain and feel loose.
